Interior Design Case Studies

San Francisco Condo:

Our client wanted a city condo in San Francisco in addition to her main home in the suburbs for long weekends or a respite after business meetings.  We designed a cozy, comfortable and stylish apartment in soft greys, charcoal and black neutrals with a punch of accent color in lime green.  A custom peninsula desk was added in the main living space, so our client could work while overlooking the city skyline.  Contemporary artwork in bold colors rounded out the overall color palette.  This became a city dwelling suited for the live, work and entertain aspects of our client’s life.

Kona, Hawaii Residence:

Our client wanted a tropical oasis as her third home, and chose to settle in Kona, Hawaii.  The design focus on this new construction project was to integrate the indoor & outdoor connections with seamless color coordination, natural materials and a soft color palette of taupes, ecru, turquoise, and light blue.  All furniture & fabrics were highly durable yet cozy as well as conducive to entertaining family and friends traveling long distances to the “Big Island”.  We completed a Turnkey Interior Design with all housewares, linens, small appliances and sundries filling the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms, so our client only needed to move in with her clothes for the custom designed closets. This became an Island Paradise, ready for relaxing, a round of golf or dinner at home.

Luxury Oceanfront Condo/Boca Raton:

This oceanfront luxury condo renovation is nearing completion with a crisp color palette of white, cool grey, light blue and blue-green accentuates the water beyond the balcony.  A blending of many textures & softness with minimal patterns is a monochromatic layering of tonality with extensive comfort features.  An open kitchen with large center island leads to the main living/dining area overlooking spectacular views of the sun and sea.  Each of the five bedrooms connected baths allow for vacationing family and friends to have a complete sense of privacy.  The Primary Suite is a comfortable, private enclave in the home, and our client loves to relax in an oversized occasional chair and ottoman for reading or television viewing.  Custom designed furnishings maximize storage space while adding to the textural concept of this residence.

Traditional Home/Boca Raton:

A renovation project with English and French traditional detailing is a beautiful collection of molding details, rich wallcovering, carved wood furnishings and sculptural light fixtures.  A bold color palette of warm neutrals, jewel toned accents with intricate floral, striped & textured patterns blended with our client’s collections of fine glass and porcelain accessories.  The planning and detailing of this home was focused on entertaining and daily comfort after a long day at the office.  Existing antique furnishings were coordinated with new purchases to complete this primary residence for our clients.

Cat Cay, Bahamas Private Residence:

This refurbishing project in Cat Cay, Bahamas, a private island, was designed for vacationing and relaxation.  With a main house, and two guest bungalows, there is ample space for entertaining family and friends for long periods of time or a short getaway to the islands.  The home is sited on a lot with spectacular front and rear views of the Atlantic Ocean making this a very special home.  An exposed wood beam and paneled ceiling in the Great Room as well as a large custom designed wood wall unit are just a sampling of the architectural details in this home. Furnishings were of a coastal theme with painted or washed woods.  Durable yet comfortable fabrics allowed for low maintenance while still highlighting a stylish look.  A color palette of cool beige, taupe, sea blue and aqua invites a relaxing and stress reducing visit.  A true island paradise that our clients look forward to visiting on a regular basis.
